Background

Mr. Malo specializes in litigation with a focus on business, employment, co-ownership/condominium and environmental law. He has been involved in a number of major commercial cases, including an oppression remedy engaged by a minority shareholder, which prompted the Quebec Court of Appeal to establish criteria in this regard applicable throughout Quebec. He also played an active role in the appeal regarding urea formaldehyde foam insulation, one of the most high-profile manufacturer’s liability case in the history of the province.

Mr. Malo heads up the pension committee of one of Canada’s leading pension funds.
