Background
Ms. Dumont began her legal career as a notary in private practice in Montreal, specializing in matters related to real estate. In this capacity, she was involved in a wide range of transactions related to the financing and acquisition of different kinds of properties and became well versed in the area of title examination. After being called to the Quebec Bar, she worked with several financial institutions and developed an in-depth expertise in personal and corporate trusts and pension plans. She then returned to the field of real estate, focusing on project financing, acquisitions and co-ownership/condominium law.
